Dennis is an online instructor and instructional designer who has contributed in a variety of venues online. He was first recognized in 1995 with a Milken National Educator Award. By 1999 he was working as a Project Writer for ISTE's National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) Writing Project, and in 2000 he joined the faculty of Connected University. He is currently an adjunct instructor in the University of Wisconsin-Stout Online Professional Development program where he teaches Teaching Writing with the Six-Traits.
