Adam Dugger is a passionate educator who inspires his students and colleagues with his ability to integrate technology into the curriculum. His enthusiasm for technology has been contagious at our school. His students blog on a weekly basis, videoconference with other classrooms around the country, and create digital stories and videos for curriculum-based projects he has designed. He is about to embark on an online collaborative project he has created about New York State, with classrooms located in different areas of the state comparing and sharing knowledge through the use of a wiki that will contain information, images, and student-created videos. He also teaches educational technology professional development courses in our district and there is always a waiting list to get into his class! Wanting to further his own knowledge, Adam is now enrolled in a second educational technology master's degree, and maintains a well-read blog in which he shares his thoughts and insights. It is for all of the above reasons that I highly recommend that Adam recieve this award!
