Kevin Delaney has been working with Wayland High School students since 2000 on the Wayland High School History Project, to create a digital record of the stories of local citizens who participated in significant eras of the twentieth century. Beginning with World War II, flowing into the Cold War, and most recently focusing on Viet Nam, these collections of primary source materials nicely capture the local history of a suburban Massachusetts community through multimedial shockwave, web page and digital video formats. Kevin is to be especially commended for his efforts to keep curriculum in the forefront of technology in education. Through his metoring of students integrating history and technology, he has helped to synthesize an historical archive of value for the Wayland community that can be accessed from around the world.
