Buffy Hamilton is a librarian and life0long learner who has embraced Web 2.0 technologies both forher personal use and in her professional life. As an authentic user of new technolgoies, Buffy is able to model effective, appropriate use of these new tools online to an audience of millions.

Buffy strives to create learning environments in which learners are offered choices in how they demonstrate what they know and what they can do while also encouraging them to grow as readers and writers.  She is a proponent of a classroom as a place of inquiry and investigation. By creating a community of learners, Buffy serves as an active learner who rolls up her sleeves and participates right along with her learners.

Her blog "The Unquiet Librarian" is a regular read for thousands online who carry on a dialogue about what it means to be "Librarian 2.0." Her posts are thoughtful, engaging and thoroughly entertaining. Buffy's personality comes through vibrantly in her writing! "The Unquit Library" blog is an excellent companion, offering research, recommendations and resources for educators online. In a word, Buffy is the consumate definition of 'collaboation.'
