Dear Dee Dee,

You did a great job in the iditarod!! We are a kindergarten class in Holmen, Wisconsin. We have eight boys and eight girls. We got ready for the iditarod by watching the movie, Balto. We also made igloos, a map for the iditarod, soap carvings, and good luck signs for you and Rick! We had lots and lots of fun!!!!!!

We have some questions for you. We hope you can answer them.

*How fast did your dogs go and what color are they?
*Did you have a toothbrush with you during the "Great Race?"
*What was your favorite checkpoint during the race?
*What did you have to do to take care of your dogs?
*How did your dogs eat during the race?
*What did you drink and eat during the race?

We want you to know that we really like your dogs and think you are an excellent musher. We were really happy to see that you made it to Nikolai in first place! We were also very happy that you made it safely to Nome, Alaska in 16th place. We're very proud of you!!!!!!!!
