Hi Doug,

It’s the Busy Bees from Mrs. Meier’s first grade class. We wanted to first tell you congratulations on your marriage. We wish you and your new bride a lot of luck. We enjoyed following you during the Iditorod race. We loved all of your nice letters.

We sure hope you enjoyed the race. Some of us were wondering what you did when the race was over? Did you rest for a long time or go on a nice warm vacation? We would love for you tell us more about the type of sled that you plan to design for the next race. How will it be different? How long does it take to design and build a sled?

We would love to hear some of your funniest or most interesting stories from the race. Keep practicing and training hard for next year’s race. We will all be watching to see how you do!
