Dear Vern,

Your race was fantastic! We were really proud of you and excited at how high you placed. We followed the Iditarod race on the outdoor channel. Our teacher taped each of the shows and we watched them the next day. We are sending a picture of the banner we made for you, and the display of reports that we copied off the keloland .com website. This way the whole school could keep track of your progress.

Again, congratulations and we hope to see you in the race again next year.
