I teach 3rd grade in Austinville, Virginia. We selected Sonny King as our musher. We were very proud of him. He did a great job! The class did a map and we kept up with the race. The students were so excited. The three third grade classes at Laurel did a program on the race at a P.T.S.O. meeting. The parents enjoyed it. It was a learning experience. We hope to do it next year.
