We were so excited that the technology in bringing us the race via internet improved so much from last year. The web cams were great. The sled cam on Martin as he came down Front Street was amazing...watching in live time as he finished was so much better than listening to the radio...we did still very much enjoy the radio updates.

Attached is an example of an art project we did.....chalk on black paper....aurora ....we studied that phenomenom along with our Iditarod unit....7th grade.

This has been so much fun for us all....we even had a musher and equipment come and speak to us.....not an Iditarod musher, but a local who was very good.
