In order to participate in the project, you must

• be a public, private or home school
• be an elementary or middle school classroom (grades K-8)
• be willing to follow messages on Twitter and post to checkpoint blogs
• have Internet access to the official Iditarod website in your classroom
• commit to participating in the project through the end of the Iditarod Race
