The 2009 project will follow the following timeline:

January 9 , 2010 - January 31, 2010		Open registration period
February 1 - February 12, 2010		Create a wall map of the trail
February 15 - February 26, 2010		Select a musher to follow in the race
March 1 - March 5, 2010		Prepare your class for the big event
March 6, 2010 - end of the race		Follow your musher and post to each checkpoint's blog as he or she progresses!
March 31, 2010		Receive an official 2009 eIditarod class certificate for completion of the trail!
