I am honored to present to you the fifth annual Surfaquarium Top Online Educators for 2008! In creating this honor, I wanted to recognize those educators who are singled out by their peers as being an inspiration both locally and across the online community. In preparing for this annual recognition, I solicited nominations from educators in the trenches doing the work of our profession.

This is a non-commercial, unabashed recognition of each honorees work. There is no monetary award or obligation accompanying this honor; there are no strings attached. The Surfaquarium's Top Online Educator program is an altruistic recognition of excellence in the quickly-evolving world of educational technology.
