Ms. Pare's Class Map

Hello Walter,

We are a homeschooling family of two younger children.  Here is an attachment of our map. 
We made ours on a very large board purchased at a local craft store. 
I used a projector to enlarge Alaska and the children painted the various areas. 
I printed out some information about the checkpoints and we glued those off to the side. 
I printed out the checkpoint names and the children arranged those in order and then glued them on.  
We have really enjoyed our experiences so far and have read related books, constructed poems, role-played, and learned so much! 
Thank you for this opportunity.  We have been reading about the mushers and will decide on one soon!
